It is a privilege and an honor to serve as a Bilingual teacher at D.P. Morris and be part of the Mansfield Independent School District family. I began my teaching career in Irving Independent School District as a third-grade bilingual teacher in 2004 and nine years later, moved to fourth grade for a few years before becoming a second-grade teacher. I enjoy working with the students, the families, and the magnificent faculty and staff at D.P. Morris. It is truly a great place to live, learn, and teach.
I am originally from Ponce, Puerto Rico but grew up in Duncanville, Texas. I graduated from the University of Texas in Arlington and am currently pursuing my Master's Degree in Bilingual Education with a Certification as a Reading Specialist at SMU in Dallas. I have three boys that are my pride and joy. In my spare time, I love to spend time with family and friends.
